Lazze's Hands On Courses in Pleasanton, CA

Lazze's Metal Shaping TechniquesThe Hands on Classes in Metal Shaping started 1996 in Sweden, and about 1,000 students from Europe have taken the classes before Lazze moved to USA 2005 and California. Totally it's now around 1400 people from many different states and from many countries that had attend the classes.

We have Hands-on Courses, Step 1, 2 , 3 and Video instructions online and if that's not enough we have Instruction Manual books that shows you Step by Step how you can master the art of metal shaping. As you can see we offer different packages of Metal Shaping instructions, so you can choose which one that fits you best.

Make sure what this is all about first before we begin the process:

What you can do to a sheet is four elements:

  • You can cut
  • You can bend
  • You can Shrink
  • You can stretch

That's all you can do, and when you understand what happen when you do that, and that's what we teaching you, you'll take control over the sheet, you can create anything you want from a flat piece of sheet.

Of course the Hands on class is always the best way to learn metal Shaping, no doubt about that, but with the new technology on Internet it's now possible to learn LAZZE's Metal Shaping technique over the internet. We making videos, Instruction manuals, E-books, webinair, Blueprints with the layouts and templets with instructions so good so it's almost like a Hands On class step by step How to do it. That's our main Goal.

We pick a different car body every year, so far we have built 1932 Ford Roadster, 1933 Ford 3W Coupe, AC-Cobras, Willys 41" and more.

2009 we probably going to build 1932 5W Coupe body, or 1936 Roadster body . In the class you'll learn how to start a project, how to do the layout, how to make templates, learn how to make left and right side symmetrical, learn to put all of the parts together to a car body and learn what to look for to have the whole body to look right.

All bodies and everything you make will start from flat sheet and we using the same tool/machines as in the step 1 class. $450.00/day. Total Price $2250.00

* We do a "Give away" car body every year, a lottery for the students who took the class that year, so the parts you making in the step 2 class you can't keep. 2008 we gave away a 1933 3W Coupe body to one of the students, The winner was Andy Lawrence from Sacramento, Congratulations !

Step 3 class: is more what people have a demand for, and over the years people asked for making their own car body and take it home after the 5 days class, so I'm working on that and I'll see what I can come up with. If we do something like that it allows us to have only 2 students each class and it must be a smaller Car body, like a 32' roadster pickup Cab, so one person can make that in 5 days and take it home.

It can also be a step 3 class where a person bring in a project, like a fender, doors hood or anything smaller, "Not a whole car body", and work on that for a few days under my instructions. $450.00/day, Call for more information.

These are the techniques which made it possible for students to make endless of different parts and also to copy and build a car body in steel or aluminum in the Step-2 Classes. Cars that have been built by students are AC-Cobras, Willys 41', Ford 32' Roadster, Ford 33' 3W Coupe and more... See Lazze photo gallery in the main menu.

Here in USA about 50% of the students are pure amateurs and 50% professionals but to remember all of them learned a lot in the classes, even people who built Hot Rods for over 30 years as a professional.

We would like to help you to achieve your dreams when it comes to producing your own custom parts, or your customers' parts, in a more efficient way or maybe your own Hot Rod body, airplane, art stuff or what ever you can imagine... We can provide the tools and machines for you as well as the training.
